GS-0303-05 Equivalent | Contractor Position

Position Overview

Info Gain Consulting LLC (IGC) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a federal program team and Government stakeholders. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate meetings, maintain program documentation, track action items and deliverables, and support efficient administrative and information-management workflows.

This is a contractor position and not a federal civil-service appointment. The GS-0303-05 equivalency describes the anticipated level of duties and responsibility; it does not establish federal employment status, compensation, or benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, working sessions, and other program activities.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, document decisions, and track attendance.

  • Monitor action items, deliverable due dates, suspense dates, and follow-up activities.

  • Format, proofread, organize, and maintain correspondence, reports, briefings, and other program documents.

  • Maintain electronic files, shared repositories, records, and document-version controls.

  • Help ensure that authorized stakeholders can locate current and authoritative program information.

  • Support preparation of recurring status reports and deliverable-tracking information.

  • Assist with correspondence, file maintenance, and travel coordination when required.

  • Apply Government-provided templates, naming conventions, records-management procedures, and document-control requirements.

  • Protect sensitive Government information and comply with applicable privacy, security, records-management, and information-handling requirements.

  • Perform other administrative and logistical duties within the position’s scope as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least two years of administrative-support experience.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas or minutes, maintaining files, and tracking actions or deadlines.

  • Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email, and calendar applications.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, including grammar, formatting, and document accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a structured environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated professionalism and customer-service skills.

  • Ability to follow established procedures and appropriately handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Administrative-support experience in a federal, government-contractor, law-enforcement, intelligence, or other regulated environment.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Lists, or Planner.

  • Experience maintaining controlled document repositories and version histories.

  • Experience supporting project-management offices or multidisciplinary program teams.

  • Familiarity with federal records-management, privacy, and information-protection practices.

Security and Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required because the position is anticipated to require access to DHS information-technology systems.

  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the CBP-required suitability determination and favorably adjudicated Tier 4 or Tier 5 background investigation, as determined by CBP based on position sensitivity.

  • The candidate must complete all required forms, fingerprinting, background-investigation activities, security briefings, training, nondisclosure agreements, badging, and system-access requirements within Government-established timeframes.

  • A current Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance is not required by this job announcement.

  • Employment and assignment to the contract are contingent upon contract award, Government approval when required, and successful completion of applicable pre-employment and security requirements.

Work Location

Work may be performed at the contractor’s facility and designated CBP facilities. The specific duty location, on-site requirements, and authorized telework schedule will be established in accordance with contract requirements and Government direction.

Employment Type

Full-time; contingent upon contract award.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, work location, and contract requirements. The GS-0303-05 equivalency is used only to describe the anticipated responsibility level and is not a representation that compensation will equal the federal GS pay scale.
